24/7 Residential Support

Delta Projects gives 24-hour residential supports to adults with intellectual disabilities (ID) and other developmental disabilities (DD). Residential models address the needs of each person. This lets a person with ID the chance to live in a residential setting. People can get the intensive services necessary for successful long-term stability. Most of the people supported by Delta Projects live in homes with two to four housemates.

In-Home Supports

Our In-Home Supports program is for people living in their own homes. They need less than 24/7 supports. It is based on life planning strategies and coaching. Many of the people we support have not had chances in their past to be in a learning process around independent living.  Community Support Staff work with people to develop their plan. We look at:

  • develop instructions  
  • generalize the skills learned

Community Support Staff work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the person. Staff works with them to develop:

  • competence in household management
  • social and rec planning
  • money management
  • transportation (rides)
  • physical and mental health maintenance
  • community engagement
  • food and meal prep
  • self-advocacy
