Narrative
We provide outdoor recreation opportunities to individuals of all ability levels. We use these programs as a catalyst for social change leading to the advancement of a more fully inclusive society. Programs include kayaking, cycling, canoeing, camping, snowshoeing, ice skating, and more. To ensure cost is not a barrier to participation, we are committed to providing our programs for either no cost or a nominal fee.
Some of the disabilities represented at our programs include: age-related mobility concerns, limb difference, autism, brain injury (acquired or traumatic), blindness or low vision, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's, intellectual disabilities, and mental health concerns.
We have several programs geared just for those 60 and up, like Senior Cycling, Senior Snowshoeing, and Kayaking or Paddle Boarding.
We also sell recumbent tricycles, semi-recumbent bicycles, and a child's tag-along recumbent called the Weehoo. Our equipment sales further our mission by helping more people to be independently active, while also providing an important source of earned revenue for our programs.
