Narrative

The Community Living Program is a unique opportunity for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities (IDD) to live and thrive in a family space. The person is included. Their opinions are valued, across regular day-to-day decision making. This ensures that they feel welcome and respected as members of the household. People are also encouraged to join in hobbies and recreation, spiritual/religious groups of their choice, and to develop friendships.

At Viability, we understand the difference between a house and a home. We ensure a match is safe and clean. We equally hold to high priorities of ensuring the home provider is caring, supportive, respectful They are eager to include the incoming people in all aspects of their home life. This is the cornerstone of the Community Living Program.
