Narrative

Heading Home is one of the Commonwealth's leading providers of emergency shelter, transitional, and permanent housing. We serve children and adults currently or formerly experiencing homelessness. Our housing-plus-services approach sets people on a pathway to self-sufficiency. 

Heading Home is one of the few Boston-area shelter providers that supports both single adults and families with children.

Emergency Shelter

Heading Home provides emergency assistance shelter to 360+ families each night including more than 500 children, tmost of whom are cared for by a single mom.
