Narrative

Independent Living: For any person with a significant physical, mental, cognitive or sensory impairment for whom IL services will improve their ability to function, continue functioning or move towards functioning in the family or community. SCIL provides peer counseling, skills training, advocacy, and information and referral. 

Southeast Center for Independent Living (SCIL) provides four core services to people with disabilities in the Greater New Bedford and Fall River area.  The four core services are information and referral, skills training, peer counseling, and advocacy.
