Narrative

Sunshine Village is a remarkable community where people with developmental disabilities (DD) are given chances for growth, outlets for creativity and the chance to discover their own niche. We support people of all ages through a wide range of programs. We teach life skills, foster independence, promote wellness and give everyone the chance to realize their potential.

We offer five Mass Health-funded day programs to people 18 and older. These structured, therapeutic programs are focused on enhancing functional life skills. Each plan address independent living and self-care areas of need. In addition to nurturing social and interpersonal skills, clinical services provided include on-site nursing, master’s level clinicians, and indirect occupational, physical and speech therapies.

Services must be referred by Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
